Casey Wieber is a Central Coast native and an award-winning, up-and-coming photographer and filmmaker with additional backgrounds in music production and sound for film. From 2007 to 2008, Casey studied audio engineering and graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Tempe, Arizona and went on to pursue a career in music. In 2012 he discovered a new passion, the camera. In 2018 he earned an Associate’s Degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography and was a two-time recipient of the Frank A. “Tony” Sprague photography scholarship from Cuesta College. After transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo he has since been a recipient of the Darren E. Loyd photography scholarship and will be graduating in 2020 with a BFA in Art and Design with a concentration in Photography and Video. Featured here is a collection of both photography and video work created during his time at Cal Poly for both class assignments and clients.
